Only got around to finally seeing that film about five years ago, and I thought it was brilliant -- hilarious. If I recall, isn't there a part when the Svengali character played by Paul Williams is trotting out his ShaNaNa-style retro act, and proclaims, "The future of rock'n'roll is its past"?
